“Traumatized” Flight Attendant Melts Down After Wiping Passenger’s Behind

“Traumatized” Flight Attendant Melts Down After Wiping Passenger’s Behind

A female member of crew who was made to clean a male passenger after he used the bathroom on a recent flight from Los Angeles to Taiwan has spoken out about how this experience traumatized her. Writing about her account of the upsetting incident via social media platform Instagram, she said, “I feel dirty.”

A female member of cabin crew who was made to clean a male passenger after he used the bathroom on a recent flight from Los Angeles to Taiwan has spoken out about how the experience traumatized her, Taiwan English News reports.

The incident involved a passenger who has been described by the outlet as being “an old, white, American man.” The man, who was reportedly well over 400lbs in weight, is said to have made “unreasonable requests” of the plane’s cabin crew.

At one point during the course of the flight, he reportedly requested assistance from crew in order to not only get to the toilet, but in order to clean himself after using the lavatory. The passenger explained that his right hand was broken and that, as he had recently had surgery on it, he would not be able to do this himself.

The man – who had to be taken by crew to the business class toilets as he would not fit in the economy facilities – is said to have summoned staff in a half-dressed state and insisted that the crew assist him.

An unnamed female member of crew is said to have been upset at being exposed to the man’s genitalia.

The outlet reported that she told the man, “This is really too much. The cabin crew are all female, and we don’t have a male team member. No one can help you,” to which he is said to have replied, “You promised to help me!”

The member of cabin crew did eventually assist the man and relayed her account of her upsetting experience via Instagram, saying, “I feel dirty.”

This is a joke. People this physically disabled should not be allowed on a plane. “Plane” and simple.

Whoever in authority forced the FA to do this should be fired. Inhuman. If the man could not care for himself he should not have traveled.

Yes, but before boarding, how would they determine he was not able to do this for himself?
Once they are in the air, it is a bit too late.
If his right hand had a problem, why didn’t he use his left? After all, in some cultures, that was historically the “unclean” hand to be used for such things.
They should restrict him from future flights, and he should have to hire an aide to accompany him on the way back to the US.

This post did not describe the full event. If you read the full context of Taiwan English News, he actually didn’t really need assistance. And what happened in the event was worse than this post. His behavior was no less than sexual harassment.

I think it is disgusting and feel for those FAs if that man used this situation for his own perverted pleasure.

This guy should be banned from flying, period.

I read elsewhere, this guy was on his way to BKK, where he apparently travels to quite a bit..Wonder why?I could imagine sitting next to this creep across the pacific.

Apparently this creep has a long history with BR flying LAX-BKK. Why BR continues to let me on board is beyond me..
Just a little history of the pax’s behavior on BR:
    – The man defecated himself on the same LAX-TPE flight in May 2018. Fellow pax complained to BR, who then called the crew in for a discipline hearing. The crew were left off with a warning but were told that they should’ve never let it get to that point.
    – He pissed himself on another flight in his seat. This incident resulted in the aircraft being pulled off the line for mx to replace and clean the area.
    – On a TPE-BKK flight, he demanded that the crew change and clean his diaper for him. They refused, and the diaper overflowed. Luckily, the return load was light and the cabin area was blocked off for TPE mx to do a cleaning and replacement in the area.
    – On another flight, he threatened to faint and make the crew’s life worse if they refused to help him in the bathroom.
    – On the connecting journey this time, he spilled juice all over his crotch. He flagged down the flight attendant to help wipe it; she gave him napkins but he demanded she wipe it for him, saying “You can do better than me”. The crew eventually wiped for him.

My wife listened to a Mandarin language YouTube video from Taiwan on this subject. Apparently, when the FA wiped the guy, he started groaning in a rather sexual manner.

Should be on the No Fly List forever.

I’d let him sit in his own defecation, walk away and ignore him. Next, page for a doctor on board – see if any medical personnel would have a better suggestion. If all else fails, contact the captain and see what he has to say. Disgusting.

Uhhhh WTF is going on here?

The original story here is strange enough, and the comments aren’t super helpful but if Icecat’s comment is accurate, I’m really concerned.

    1. What kind of ****** up **** is this guy into? I can easily fly 12-14 hours without having to crap, and it seems like he’s doing this on purpose, so it really makes you wonder.

    2. What kind of discipline was the crew spoken to about? How are they supposed to prevent this freak from crapping himself on purpose to get their attention? “Never let it get to that point”…if he was drunk and they kept serving him, I understand, but that doesn’t seem to be indicated anywhere.

    3. If he’s LIKE THIS in “public” I shudder to think what he does in BKK. I feel really bad for anyone desperate enough to do the Law & Order SVU type stuff this guy seems to be after.

    4. How does someone “make themselves faint”.

    5. No flight attendant should ever agree or be forced to help someone deal with their bathroom issues. A trained aid/nurse should be flying with you, but it seems pretty obvious he’s not injured or something. But in any case, the FA should have simply refused and NO ONE should’ve put pressure/forced her or a man to deal with this.

    6. You can demand all you want, but I’m not wiping your crotch, you do it.

This man should be banned from flying Eva. It seems like the bean counters can’t even make the justification that he’s flying paid business class. Not that THAT’s right either. If I were the traumatized FA, I’d probably try and take legal action against the company. I’m not sure how litigious the Taiwanese are, but if she was forced by the purser or something to do this. That’s just not ok.

Lastly, the airline should try and take some legal action. Because this is sexual harassment. If they really can’t do anything in the legal realm, then just ban him from your airline for life. Honestly, any one of these incidents warrants that in my opinion, but if not, the pattern certainly warrants it.

This disgusting **** is just the worst of the worst.

this creep has a track record of bad behavior. these planes are not hospitals or rehab facilities. if a person is unable to care for their personal needs, they should employ a personal aide or not be allowed to fly.

Why on earth hasn’t he been banned? No one is reporting how passengers seated near him react. I can’t imagine. Does he fly business or first? Does he buy two seats if in coach?

Actually he should be thoroughly beaten and then banned for life .

    1. He should be made to pay for cleanup and airline damages.
    2. Should be ordered to loose 200 lbs.
    3. Should be investigated for non-airline/travel behavior to see what he “does” routinely.
    4. Airline should sue him.
    5. Mandated psychiatric counseling.
    6. The FA should sue him.

The guy should never be allowed to go outside his home except to jail!

I can tolerate lots of things from people that have handicaps. Old lady going on the jetway all feeling bad because she is blocking the way? No prpblem ma’am, take your time.

But this is something else. First, I cannot believe a single human being has a condition that somehow makes it impossible to be anything less than 400 lbs. Fat? Maybe. But this is WAY out of proportion.

And then there is the poopy story. I mean, really? Have you no shame? Grown adults don’t let others wipe their rear end unless they are disabled. And when they are disabled they avoid travel. If travel they must for extraordinary reasons then special precautions must be taken. Certainly a nurse. None of this apply here.

And for God’s sake avoid going to the bathroom at all!

BR should not accept him onboard. No other airline should accept him. Lose weight, learn manners, then we’ll discuss.

This is ridiculous. If the man was incapacitated in some way he should have paid for an attendant to travel with him.

The full story discloses how when the FA wiped the guy, he started MOANING.

Man, it’s stories like this that help me to understand why FA’s give horrendous service on certain flights!

I’m tramatized just reading about this. j/k I feel bad for the FA, I can sit here and say I’d tell the airline ‘I quit.’ but itrs not that easy for most people who need their jobs.
