Thousands of Bees Attach to Plane, Delay Flight

An American Airlines flight departing from Miami International Airport (MIA) was delayed on Monday as a gargantuan swarm of bees attached themselves to the aircraft. The passengers onboard the flight departed as flight crew phoned for help in removing thousands of bees.

After several hours of deliberation, the city of Miami deployed a beekeeper in order to carefully clear the plane of the insects.

“[There] must have been thousands of them,” said passenger Jonathan Gillinski.

I like in the CBS News article referenced they say the beekeeper took "longer than usual" to arrive. How often are they calling the beekeeper that there is a "usual" in this situation?

"The passengers onboard the flight departed as flight crew phoned for help in removing thousands of bees." Could you please translate the above to a language that most of us can understand?

"After several hours of deliberation, the city of Miami deployed a beekeeper" SERIOUSLY - the beekeeper should have been called immediately!
