There Was a Snake on This Plane

A snake was discovered in the cargo hold of an Emirates aircraft from Oman to Dubai prior to takeoff Sunday, prompting the cancellation of the flight. According to a spokesperson for the carrier, the reptile was deplaned before passengers boarded the Boeing 777-300ER. The species of snake has yet to be released, though Emirates did apologize to passengers for the inconvenience.
