Peter the Pilot Is Your Next Bachelor

Fans of Bachelor Nation already know, the next planned Bachelor is none other than windmill-trysting Peter Weber; but now the show is colliding with the travel industry—Weber is a pilot for Delta Air Lines—and he’s completely on board with the exciting journey to find the new love of his life.

The travel and dating worlds will collide on the next season of “The Bachelor” when pilot Peter Weber becomes the new lead of the show. Weber works for Delta Air Lines and is perhaps best known for regularly trysting with Hannah Brown in a windmill on her season. He ended up getting third place on that season. His naming as the new bachelor happened during the finale of the most recent Bachelor in Paradise that just aired.

Weber, who’s 28, is excited for his chance to find love on the show, but Vulture points out that he hasn’t always had the best press regarding his relationships in the past. His ex-girlfriend says that he broke up with her unexpectedly in order to become famous on the show.

“He interviewed for a reality dating show while simultaneously planning a future with me,” model Calee Lutes, a model and Weber’s ex, told Vulture about their relationship. “Also, if all of this wasn’t bad enough, I’ve had multiple people reach out to me and tell me that he was seeing other women while we were exclusive.”

Weber’s has not responded to Lutes’ comments. His season, the 24th in the Bachelor Nation conglomerate, will air in early 2020.
