Passenger Nearly Causes Mid-Flight Food Riot

A woman aboard a Thursday flight with Air New Zealand from Auckland to Shanghai was escorted from the plane after reportedly having a meltdown over the airline’s in-flight meal. Johanna Pitot, who is unable to eat gluten, dairy, sugar, fish or pork, had been informed by flight attendants that her food had not made the flight, and claims that flight attendants gave her only a plate of brown salad leaves and joked about the situation. A fellow passenger shared the incident on Twitter after landing in the Chinese city on Thursday, tweeting “Police boarded my flight in Shanghai because a woman nearly caused a riot when they didn’t have the meal she wanted. Definition of Hangry.”

Airline doesn't board special meal. passenger almost has meltdown, almost makes a fuss ... airline calls the police at the end of the flight...... Should they not nearly call the police? This story makes no sense other than some employee trying to preemptively slander a passenger in order to prevent a compensation claim.
