MLS Manager Is Embarrassed By Commercial Flights
Bruce Arena, manager of the LA Galaxy, claims he is “embarrassed” that Major League Soccer (MLS) teams have to use commercial flights because “he feels flying commercial damages the perception of the league,” according to ESPN FC.
MLS does not charter flights for their teams as they travel between games, unlike a lot of other professional U.S. sports leagues.
“I’m embarrassed that we travel that way. I don’t think it helps the reputation of our league,” Arena said, telling players to not wear team gear to the airports.
