Man Spends $120K Building Airbus Replica For…Some Reason

Zhu Yuecheng, a native of the Liaoning province of China, is building what appears to be a life-sized replica of an Airbus A320. The project began in October of 2016.

“I have loved planes since a really young age,” said Yuecheng. Since I cannot afford to buy one, I decided to build one […] I have spent all my savings on this.”

Yuecheng expects that the project will be completed by May of 2018, and he is batting around the possibility of opening a restaurant within the replica or charging filmmakers to use it as a set.
