Man Delays Flight After Ripping Off Plane Ceiling

A passenger aboard a Cathay Pacific flight to Bangkok  on Wednesday accidentally tore off part of the aircraft’s ceiling while attempting to store his luggage, causing the flight to be delayed for over three hours. The man allegedly pulled down a ceiling panel after mistaking it for an overhead luggage compartment. Plane engineers were able to repair the part, and the flight to Bangkok commenced normally after the delay. There were 280 passengers onboard when the accident occurred.
