Man at German Airport Conceals Trouser Snake

On Christmas Eve, a man was discovered by airport security at Berlin Schönefeld Airport (SXF) with a literal, actual snake concealed in his pants. The snake, a 15.75-inch boa constrictor, is a protected species of snake under the Washington Convention under the Protection of Cities act, and the 43-year-old snake-smuggler did not have the appropriate documentation.
The passenger was fined for the smuggling attempt, and the snake was taken to a snake rescue in Brandenburg, Germany.
No, this news brief was not an elaborate excuse to post a Trouser Snake joke. Honest.
