JFK’s Terminal 4 Gets Automated Screening

On Wednesday, Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) received the first of four automated screening lanes being installed at the airport. The automated lanes are designed such that as many as five passengers at one time will be able to place their belongings in the bins for scanning, thus expediting the scanning process considerably. Additionally, conveyor belts will automatically bring empty bins back to the beginning of the line.

The picture is of Terminal 5. The picture for the United jet clipping a AA jet at JFK story is a picture of Delta jets at Terminal 4. Double check before you post, FT!
