JetBlue Mint Now Bookable Using Emirates Skywards

Flyers attempting to book JetBlue’s premium cabin with miles now have a new option. Award bookings in the Mint premium cabin are now available with Emirates’ award miles, Skywards.

If you collect Emirates’ frequent flyer miles, Skywards, they may have become more valuable thanks to their partnership with JetBlue. In a quiet update, the New York-based airline now accepts Skywards to book seats in their premium cabin, Mint.

Skywards Awards for Mint Tickets Start at 16,000 One-Way

For nearly five years, FlyerTalkers have called upon JetBlue to accept Skywards miles for their top-tier product. The change is effective immediately, allowing flyers who hold Skywards to book flights in the Mint cabin on routes where it is available. Instead of creating a dynamic chart, award pricing is based on the one-way distance of the selected flight.

The move comes as JetBlue expands their premium product to new markets across the United States and internationally. In addition to adding the Mint product to routes flying out of Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), the airline will also offer the forward cabin option on their international flights to London and Vancouver.

As with all new travel options, terms apply. The reward flight costs are for direct flights only – if flyers need to fly two or more segments, multiple rewards may be required. All tickets must be confirmed at the time of booking, and no waitlisting is allowed. Flyers are responsible for paying taxes, fuel surcharges and any other associated charges. Reward tickets are valid for 12 months from the original issue date, with a maximum stay of three months.

New Option Part of Expansion Season for JetBlue

The additional award option for JetBlue is the latest step in what has been a season of expansion for the carrier. Alongside their new routes focused on “Visiting Friends and Relatives,” the airline also entered a strategic alliance with American Airlines, giving their passengers more flexibility in flight options.

Marriott sucks- I can't say their customer service is superior or that the corporate office handles things in a professional manner. They allow drugs on property, do not handle crisis situations well, and the employees- for the most part are young people who do not take their jobs seriously. Hotel stays used to be an enjoyable experience. Now, you are just trying to survive the stay and when things go south, all the hotel does is deflect and defend instead of take responsibility. Even the corporate office is AWFUL! DO NOT EVER expect these people to accept responsibility for anything that goes wrong- ever!

I have a very negative experience with Chase Travel Portal, it's customer service, and Chase Sapphire Preferred customer service when trying to book a flight in Business in January 2022. The consistent problem is that a lower price comes up on the initial search. After flights are picked price jumps by $1000+.Over the last three days, this has been consistent. The customer service line from Chase Travel is "dynamic pricing. " Which can happen, but for almost 72 hours, this consistent yo-yo pricing is either a glitch, or a illegal "bait and switch" pricing! I understand that Expdia provides pricing info to Chase Travel. So today I checked both the sites at approximately the same time (10:20 pm +/-) and found an even larger difference. Anomaly, or Bait and Switch? You be the judge! PHL-CCU-PHL Business United/Vistara Jan4 – Jan 26 Expedia Price $2627.87 PHL-CCU-PHL Business Vistara/United Jan4 – Jan 26 Chase Travel Price $4666.18 Both priced around same time Jul 9, 10:20 pm Expedia is the pricing provider to Chase Travel Portal Does anyone know of a benign cause for this? Have anyone else had a similar experience? Thanks in advance, Satya
