Hotel Manager Dubbed Hero After Saving Dog

A hotel manager at The Roadway Inn in Greenville, South Carolina, is being called a hero after he saved a dog whose leash was caught in a hotel elevator.

“I don’t really consider myself a hero but I’m just very glad I was able to save this little dog’s life,” said the manager, Ben Duke.  Duke was able to snap the dog’s – Boo Boo – leash in time after the owner walked into the elevator with leash in hand, though the dog was still outside.
