From the Forum: Should Guests Be Compensated for Shooter Lockdowns?

On the FlyerTalk forum, user ceieoc recounted their experience at a Holiday Inn in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in which a SWAT time arrived to contain a shooting in which one man was allegedly injured. Ceieoc raised the question of whether hotel guests are entitled to compensation due to the inconvenience of having the building locked down.

Maybe the a$$hat who was doing the shooting owes you something. If "inconvenience" is the hotel's fault maybe, but random acts out of their control no.
