Flight Deal: Fly Qatar Business Class to India for Under $2,500

If any of India’s exotic cities are on your radar this fall, FlyerTalkers found a fare that can get you there in Qatar Airways’ renowned business class. Flying from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, fares are available to many of India’s air hubs for under $2,500.

FlyerTalkers who are hunting for a fare deal to any of India’s major cities – Mumbai, Goa, or Chennai – may have hit the optimal time to book their fall airfare. FlyerTalker britishcanuck found several flights between John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to India aboard Qatar Airways for under $2,500.

In the example provided on the FlyerTalk forums, potential business class passengers can fly out on Tuesday, Oct. 15 to Mumbai and return on Thursday, Oct. 24, for $2,453 round trip. According to Google Flights, the fares are available on additional date sets in late October, November and early December.

The flights reflect a discount of over $700 compared to other luxury carriers flying through the Middle East. The same business class flight on Etihad Airways costs $3,173, while Emirates’ business class flight for the same dates cost $3,182. The flight requires a stopover in Doha International Airport (DOH).

Qatar’s flights are operated on a combination of their luxurious Boeing 777 aircraft, along with the new Airbus A350XWB. According to a trip report by FlyerTalker jwhite9185, the Qatar A350 business class seat features a layflat seat, a generous in-flight entertainment system, as well as custom menus and amenity kits for the flights.
