Emirates Stairway Collapses, Injures Boarding Passengers

Five people were hurt today when the stairway of an Emirates flight at Benazir Bhutto International Airport in Pakistan collapsed and passengers fell onto the runway.

“Emirates flight EK615 from Islamabad to Dubai on February 27, 2018, was involved in an incident on ground as passengers were boarding the aircraft. Five passengers and one ground handling staff sustained injuries and were transported to the nearest hospital,” the airline said in a statement to Khaleej Times.

Title is misleading. It sounds like Emirates has responsibility in this.
