Cooking Oil Mishap Tips Plane Over in Indonesia

A shipment of Bimoli cooking oil held in cargo plane on the runway of Wamena Airport (WMX) in Papua, Indonesia, accidentally spilled onto the floor of the plane, causing all other cargo to drift to the back of the cabin and tipping the plane onto its tail Monday. The oil was spilled during the cargo unloading process, and the resulting tipping lifted the aircraft’s nose several meters into the air. An investigation into the incident is currently being undertaken by the Transportation Ministry, according to the head of Wamena Airport.
