I see its at 383 Kalaimoku St. Honolulu, HI 96815 Appears to not be on beach but almost along Kuhio St behind the high end shopping mall.

I quite like Oahu but long ago gave up on staying in Waikiki. Even though it's not the best resort in the world, the Kahala is my preferred place to stay on the island thanks to its quiet residential location which gives it easy access to both city amenities and out-of-city beaches and drives. The other non-Waikiki resorts on Oahu: JW Marriott, Disney's Aulani and Turtle Bay are too far out of town and if you're going to be that far away you might as well just stay at one of the many nicer resorts on a neighbor island.

My only question is the location.
