Amex OFFERS 10K MRs for $500 Spend With Virgin Atlnatic

American Express has been offering a lot of Amex offers for purchasing airfare recently. The newest offer available is for 10,000 bonus Membership Rewards points after spending $500 or more in cumulative purchases with Virgin Atlantic by the end of October.

This is a bit better than the last two major airline related Amex offers which awarded bonus Membership Rewards points for purchases with airberlin and Air France. The spending requirement is lower for the Virgin Atlantic offer and multiple purchases will add up to qualify you for the bonus points.

However, the terms do state on this one that flights have to be from the U.S. in order to qualify for bonus points.

If you haven’t used Amex offers before, just remember to register the offer to your card before you make the purchase. If you have multiple Amex cards that are targeted for the offer, you can register the offer on more than one card.

Only cards that earn Membership Rewards points will be able to see this offer, so if you have other Amex cards that earn cash back, or Hilton points, or SPG points, don’t be alarmed if you don’t see this offer.

I was able to cash in on the Air France offer earlier this year and earned an extra 40,000 Membership Rewards points for flights I needed to book anyway. Unfortunately, I don’t think I have any upcoming flight bookings that will involve Virgin Atlantic, but I hope that some of you are able to take advantage of this offer.

Public transport isn’t an option for anyone living outside the city center. My most common flight departs at 6:00am meaning I should be at the airport at 4:00am. What are my public transportation options - answer: none. The self righteous environmental activists are simply plugged into reality, the people who pay for their folly. Boston is full of these Ivory Tower nut-jobs who are sure they are smarter than the rest of us working slobs.
