Airport Security Checks Force Actor to Change Name

Michael Caine (The Quiet American, The Dark Knight), whose birth name is Maurice Micklewhite, has legally changed his name because of the increased intensity of airport security because of Isis. According to Caine, “An airport security guard would say, ‘Hi, Michael Caine,’ and suddenly I’d give him a passport with a different name on it.” The 83-year-old actor says the situation could leave him standing there for an hour.
