Airlines Allow PAX Onboard After Block of Trump’s Ban

After President Donald Trump’s second attempt at a travel order was blocked by a judge Wednesday, Middle Eastern carriers Emirates and Etihad Airways both said passengers from the six Muslim countries mentioned in the order will be allowed to fly on their U.S.-bound planes.

According to an Emirates spokeswoman, the carrier will indeed accept citizens of Iran, Libya, Syria, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen if they have the required travel documents.

A spokeswoman for Etihad Airways echoed Emirates’ statement, claiming the carrier “”will continue to accept guests of all nationalities for travel to the U.S. provided they have valid travel documents and, if necessary, visas.”
