Airline Debuts Blankets Made From Bottles

Emirates has officially rolled out new blankets made entirely of recycled plastic bottles that are available in Economy Class on all long-haul flights. The carrier partnered with creative agency Buzz to offer the “ecoTHREAD™ blankets.”

According to Emirates, the new products will have “rescued 88 million plastic bottles from landfills– equivalent to the weight of 44 A380 aircraft.”
