Back in 2012, Beyoncé’ dropped a cool $40 million on Jay-Z’s Father’s Day gift: a Bombardier Challenger 850. As gifts for dad’s go, Beyoncé’s offering to new father Jay-Z was pretty impressive: his very own private jet. As International Business Times reports, the music superstar splashed out $40 million to purchase a Bombardier Challenger 850, the largest, super mid-size business aircraft manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace. The plane can hold between 15-19 passengers and has a kitchen, bedroom, two bathrooms and a living room plus a kitchen.

According to CW44 Tampa Bay, Beyoncé bought the aircraft back in 2012, but even seven years on, it’s still a noteworthy purchase. Offering an insight into the interior specs of the craft, Business Jet Traveler reports, “The Challenger 850’s three-zone cabin features forward and aft lavs, a large forward galley, a pass-through to the baggage compartment from the aft lav, and room to create a spacious center lounge/entertainment center or an aft stateroom.”
