Monarch Airlines Owes Hundreds of Millions (That It Probably Won’t Repay)

Now-defunct carrier Monarch Airlines still owed a total of £466m to various customers and companies, and it appears unlikely that any losses will be recouped in the wake of Monarch’s collapse. According to one report, only £600,000 remains in the Monarch coffers – a sum that wouldn’t even begin to touch the amount it owes in total.
