Another Miami Meltdown Ends in Flyer Arrest
Miami Fox affiliate WSVN-TV reports 25-year-old Camilla McMillie was arrested on charges of assaulting American Airlines employees at airport gate D-39.
Woman Begins Destroying Gate Podium After Children Walk Away
According to a viral video shared by Twitter account @OnlyInDade, McMillie began her episode after her children walked away unannounced to use the restroom. A police report obtained by WSVN claims McMillie “took her frustrations out on a gate agent when she couldn’t find her two children.” During parts of the video, it appears she is yelling for help in finding her children.

The video continues to show the woman throwing items off the gate podium, including hurling a monitor at an American Airlines employee. The action then spills out into the main terminal with other flyers, before U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers are able to detain her. The flyer was ultimately arrested by Miami Police and charged with aggravated battery.
According to the police report, McMillie’s damage to the podium could cost American around $10,000. The airline released a statement stating: “Acts of violence against our team members are not tolerated by American Airlines, and we are working closely with law enforcement in their investigation.”
The Miami-Dade County Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation does not show McMillie currently in custody. It is unclear if she was able to continue her flight with her family aboard American Airlines.
Miami International Airport Holds History of Violence
Violence and acting out at Miami International Airport is not a new issue that authorities have been dealing with. In 2021, there were at least four violent incidents at the airport, including a brawl after there were not enough standby seats to accommodate a group, and two people engaging in a fist fight for no clear reason.

Miami is a 3rd-world country within the borders of the USA... it's been this way for decades.
The woman was clearly unhinged. She has no business being on an aircraft and she should be in a mental institution. Can you imagine living with her?
He** NAH....not flying AA home today, honey!
And she was a non-rev, on an employee's buddy pass. I'm pretty sure that employee got fired too.
1. Why would American let her board one of their flights in the future?
2. Why wouldn't she have to pay to fix all the damaged equipment?
3. Why wasn't she charged with vandalism (or whatever the proper legal term) for destroying American Airlines property?
I think we know why.
Care to elaborate?
