From the Forum: AA Annihilates Bag, Pays $3,500

“You and I should be so lucky. 

,” wrote FlyerTalk user JDiver in reference to a recent incident in which American Airlines reimbursed flyer Kristen Horabin to the tune of $3,500 after her baggage was recovered in tatters and slathered with black grease and toothpaste, as well as giving her a $300 travel voucher.
