UA Allegedly Destroys $42K Wheelchair
A 24-year-old man who suffers from spinal muscular atrophy claims that United Airlines irreparably damaged his custom-made $42,000 wheelchair when he traveled with friends from Europe to New Jersey on July 2.

“We have been in contact with our customer, and have provided him with a loaner wheelchair to use during his vacation,” said United Airlines in a statement.
