Rapper’s Mom Shames Him Into Apologizing After He Abused Airline Staff

Young Thug’s mother was obviously not impressed by the star’s obnoxious treatment of Alaska Airlines employees at ATL.

He may be a big-name rapper, but Young Thug has revealed that he was recently brought down to size by his very own mother after an incident in which he abused Alaska Airlines staff at Hartsfield—Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) on Wednesday evening.

The musician, whose given name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, was en-route to give a performance in Seattle, but had apparently arrived too late to board his Alaska Airlines flight from ATL. In addition to having to cancel his concert as a result of the missed flight, the annoyed rapper then proceeded to make a video of himself abusing Alaska Airlines staff, which he then posted to his Instagram account.

In the video, excerpts of which were quoted by the Daily Mail, he is heard saying of the staff, “These two ants are so rude. They’re peasants. Your manager is a peasant, y’all are ants.”

Despite their request that he stop filming, Young Thug continued to point his phone at them. He then produced a bag filled with money and said to the two members of staff, “I’ll give y’all bums 15,000 apiece to quit your job. I’m giving you bums one more chance.”

While he initially uploaded it to his Instagram account, the video was then deleted and replaced with a clip in which Young Thug apologized to fans for having to cancel his performance.

In the second clip, he explained that, “Unfortunately I cannot make my show because I got into an altercation at the airport with two civilians.”

However, following the posting of both videos, it has since emerged that the star was forced to apologize to airport staff for his obnoxious behavior at the request of his mother.

A third post to his Instagram account, which shows an apparently contrite Young Thug at ATL, is captioned, “When your mama make u go to the airport and apologize…”
