IHG Removes Porn-on-Demand Services

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has become the latest hotel group to do away with all on-demand pornography in over 5,000 of its properties worldwide. An IHG spokesperson said in an email to Breitbart.com that the company previously had a policy in place to discourage IHG-owned hotels from offering in-room adult content rather than banning it outright, and that the new policy will issue “strict penalties” against hotels that persist in offering it. In addition to pressure from organizations against sexual exploitation, IHG appears to be responding to the enormous drop in revenue from on-demand adult content, as the advent of Internet pornography on personal computers has made purchases cheaper and more discreet for hotel guests.
