In Brief: Snake Attempts to Board Virgin Australia Flight to Sydney

A Virgin Australia aircraft received a visit from an unexpected guest Tuesday morning shortly before it was scheduled to depart Gold Coast Airport (OOL) — a green snake. The snake was spotted slithering up a set of stairs to the entry door while passengers were attempting to board.

The snake was captured by airport staff before it was able to enter the Sydney-bound aircraft, and the flight took off with only minor delay. No injuries were reported.

What's the problem...? Surely he can't be expected to slither that distance.
