Always love coming here. Recieved a great upgrade off a TSU stay (was confirmed into a King Suite) this is not typical in my experience. This is my 3rd 5 night stay this year at PHT. I would not expect a Named Suite upgrade without an additional cost typically as a Globalist.
Check In
As Always - Wonderful welcome from PHT. Was wisked away from the car walked through the lobby and escorted directly too room for checkin. In-Room check-in appears to be common when you are upgraded to named suites & also late arrivals.
Room
First time I've personally stayed in the "Tokyo Suite" - This is a one bedroom suite. Large entry way with nice art.
Great Views from the 50th floor
Abundant Seating and Books
Baby Grand Piano
One hallway ends to ajoining room - Assuming a Double room could be opened up for additional bedroom.
Large Maste Bathroom - Vanity
Bathtub - Built in marble - HUGE (really awsome)
Bedroom Seating area
Room also had a small half bath in the common areas and a small kitchen area (hot plates + sink + fridge ect). Lastly a private Dry Sauna / Steam Room - optional modes.
This was probably one of the most incredible room's I've been able to stay in. Very impressive. The bathroom area was in perfect condition. I had one of the most relaxing baths ever here, also it is really neat being able to look out and see the mass of people at the station and various other hot spots right from the bath. Larger format Aseop products and like everything else well thought out (double TV's in bath allow for vanity and bath tub to watch)
Everything was in great condition. Both Toliets were Toto washlets.
Service
Per usual service at PHT is top notch. This particular stay I had 3 rooms. They pro-actively offered Diamond (Glob*bleh*) benifitis to all 5 of us. This was very generious.
All of us enjoyed Both Room Service Breakfast and the Twilight Hours at Peaks - Now 5PM-8PM.
Twilight was great as we were traveling with a vegan upon learning this they prepared roasted veggie options for our vegan companion.
Dining
While we were here we enjoyed several visits to New York Bar - Drinks as usual were very good the L.I.T. was a particular crowd favorite. Bar food also was very good.
We also took the oppertunity to enjoy dinner at New York one night. Both the King Crab and Filet were very good. The price is a bit high compaired to other resturants in Tokyo. However the views and service were again great.
Corkage is available for 5000JPY.
Spa
While traditional Spas in Japan can be uncomfortable for us westerners, PHT Spa is very well done and a good way to break the ice. Most of the areas have relative privacy.
They do have a no clothes / bathing suit policy. Also if you have tattoos its likely they would not like you in the Spa.
The full suite of AESOP products is great in the spa.
