I will never stay here again.

One-night stay a couple of weeks ago.  Modern and funky design.  Newer hotel.

Adjacent to University of Central Florida.  Five floors.  Several eateries within 10 minutes walk.

Abnormal self-parking system.  You’re required to leave your car in front, partially blocking other traffic, and check in before coming back outside and providing the person standing outside your room number.  That person will then give you a pass to put on your dash and direct you to the self parking lot.  My check-in was confusing because the lady at the desk had given my room to another guest earlier in the day that had my same first name and a very similar last name.  Took about ten minutes to sort out and she was very apologetic.  No big deal.

My problem with the place was the lack of adequate soundproofing.  Thankfully, I’m always prepared for this and carry earplugs.  I had to sleep with them in.  Not only could I hear other guests outside in the hallway, but I could also hear cars driving on the street below.  I was on the top floor.

My 750 Marriott Rewards titanium elite arrival points took a week to post.

I received the other guest’s emailed invoice as well as my own.  He paid more per night than I did
