We visit Casa quite often and have to book quite some rooms during the year. This time I have tried for the first time the Sofitel and will never do this again.

 

Booked for myself and 2 guest for 2 nights.

During the stay I spend a lot of money in the bar and restaurant. All the spends booked on my room.

 

With checking out I paid for my room including the extra’s and the rooms for my 2 guests.

 

Checking LeClubAccor, I noticed that the rewards points are too low. I should have been credited my own room, including the costs of restaurant, bar etc. and the cost of a second room, as it is explained in the T&C.

 

Contacting the hotel was hopeless.. Whatever I tried to explain, they simply didn’t wanted to understand. I have send emails to explain, but they stayed with their own calculation.

I than contacted the Dutch service desk, but the only thing they did was explaining that the hotel did a correct calculation.

 

I hate this. Based on the loyally program, I have chosen the Sofitel. This brings them business, they would not have gotten without the loyalty program. Then, when they have to reward, they don’t follow their own rules.

 

Now it is not any longer the difference of 5K points, but the principle. Based on the T&C, I bring business and they have to reward me. Dealing with a top class hotel and a very loyal customer of Accor, they have done a very bad job.

 

As a result, our company will never again book in this hotel.
