Location
This hotel is conveniently located next to SeaTac Airport, together with a few other hotels nearby. The complex is shared with Holiday Inn, which is just across the carpark.
If you're driving, it is just a few minutes away from the I-5. Coming from the airport, you can utilise the shuttle service. The shuttle service is shared with the neighbouring Holiday Inn, and is complimentary for all guests. It runs 24/7, but for early morning service, you will have to reserve it with the front desk.
Room
My room is a Queen Suite and is located on the forth floor at the very end of the corridor.
The sink is situated next to the entrance, which I find to be quite a weird placement but I was too tired to care. The bathroom is just across it with a shower and consists of the basic amenities - conditioner, showering gel, shampoo, a soap bar and an used lotion (I thought the lotion would be replaced if it has been opened and used regardless of how full it still is). But again, I'm sleep deprived, so I didn't care much.
The room itself is quite spacious, which is divided into a bedroom and a living room/work station by a partition. There is a TV in both the living room and the bedroom. The following amenities can also be found:
- Mircorwave
- Coffee bags (both decaf and normal)
- Ironing board/Iron
- Hair-dryer
- Fridge
- Single-use cups
- Coffee maker
The bed itself feels reasonably comfortable though it's not the best hotel bed that I've been on. The thing that bothered me most was how noisy the AC and the thermostat is. The thermostat makes a ticking noise every now and then, and with me being a lightsleeper, I could hardly get any quality sleep that night.
I literally just spent the night in the bed and then checked out the next morning, so I really couldn't comment on other aspects of the room (not that there are a lot more to comment on anyway).
Dining
Breakfast is complimentary for all guests and is served from 5 - 9 on weekdays; and 6 - 9 on weekends. The dining area is just located across the lobby.
Items are fairly basic but taste better than expected. For hot items, you'll find frittatas, scrambled eggs and turkey sausage. The rest consists of fruits, yogurt, bagel, some pastries and toast.
As for drinks, coffee, tea and apple juice can be found.
Overall
I don't have anything to complain about apart from the noisy AC unit that kept me from falling asleep. For just $130 USD (after tax), this is a stay that worth the money. It would make sense for you to stay here if you're arriving into Seattle late in the evening or have a very early flight out the next morning.
With free breakfast and complimentary shuttle service included, I couldn't think of any reason not to choose this for your stay.
