Stats

Stayed 2 nights at the Andaz Liverpool Street last week. I normally stay at the Sheraton Park Tower, Hoxton Hotel or Hyatt - The Churchill. I used a 6,000 point upgrade for an Andaz Suite and asked my PL agent to request an Andaz Large Suite.

Room

Had an early arrival of 11AM, which was granted. The front desk agent was very pleasant, and apologised that they couldn't grant a Large Suite, however told me they had arranged their best Andaz Suite - Room 302. Again he offered me his personal card which I believe is part of their Diamond recognition. The hotel, like all Andaz's was modern, sleek and vibrant without the attitude that seems to have enveloped the W Brand. Upon entering the room I was amazed at how large it was, and included a bathtub which is much appreciated after traveling several continents.

Dining

Was delivered a bottle of wine every night, which may have to do with the suite booking. Unlike other Hyatt properties, the Andaz invited you to request a White wine if Red is not your preference. Diamond amenity appeared to be Corn chips with Guacamole and Salsa.

I was extremely jetlagged, and slept until the afternoon. I absolutely adore the Andaz brand specific benefit of honouring the free breakfast Diamond benefit through room service, available 24 hours a day. They were also happy to restock the mini bar as many times as required (I found myself very, very thirsty and requested more and more still water.)

Overall

Overall a very pleasant stay, and will be my chosen property in London from now on.
