Jun 19, 2022I travel from LAX to LHR (J class) and after about 6 hours in London I continue the same day with BA to PRG (different booking, award CE ticket).
Is there a chance that my baggage could be send directly from LAX to PRG if I nicely ask for that at LAX check-in?

Assuming you are travelling on BA from LAX-LHR, there should be no issues with getting the luggage checked through to the onward BA connecting flight

Show your booking at check in and there will be no problem.
You can even do that with codeshares (did it with QF SIN-LHR, connecting BA LHR-ORD)
