"Starting today is a five day 50% off rate sale at more than 50 hotels operated by Sage Hotels for stays from December 1 through January 9, 2011. Sage Hospitality is a major U.S. hotel management company that operates hotels across several hotel chains including Marriott, Hilton, Starwood, Radisson and IHG.

Book between November 17-21 for hotels stays from December 1 through January 9, 2011 to receive 50% discount rates.

There is no special rate code to enter. Finding the sale rates is hit and miss. I have had many more search misses than hits. But there are some deals. These hotels book through the hotel branded website so loyalty program credit will be applicable for these bookings."

To see 48-hour sale and the first post is taken from my blog in November 2010 is not too helpful in alerting people that a new 48-hour sale just started in the past hour.

I respectfully disagree. I think people are smart enough to scroll down to recent posts and figure it out themselves. We don't need another thread in this forum when a similar promotion by the same company took place a mere 4 months ago.

Hard to find deals for Chicago in June.

Checking the Curtis hotel in Denver for early June and the rates are the same as the Hilton website. Doesn't seem like that great of a sale!

I actually checked five hotels before the sale started and I do not see any lower prices now after one day into the 50% 48-hour sale.

This appears to be a sale that is not really a sale.
