Apr 24, 2024My Citi Thank You Premier card is up for renewal very soon. I called in, and the customer service rep suggested I downgrade to the Thank You Preferred. Rep said the Preferred still has 1.33 cents to 1 Thank You points for airline booking. When I check the Citi Bank website, it does not say that. So, my questions:
1) If I hold the Preferred card, how much is the points redemption value for airfare? Is it 1.33 cents or 1.00 cents?
2) Since the Preferred is a different card from the Premier, will the Thank You points expire within 30 or 90 days?
3) If I am redeeming for gift cards, is it still 1 cent to 1 point for each Thank You point if I got the Preferred card?
