Valuation of HH points is fairly OT here, so I'll summarize:

• HH points have a default value of ~1/3 cent.
• There are some sweet spots -- cat 1 & 2 properties, especially the resorts in Egypt -- where award redemptions can yield well above 1c/point.

There's a ton of existing discussion in the Hilton forum on the subject (in multiple threads, unfortunately), and any detailed discussion belongs there, not here.

Given that TYP, if redeemed with any intelligence whatsoever, are worth at least 1c/point (and in many cases appreciably more), transfers to Hilton are a generally poor deal unless you have a sweet-spot redemption planned and/or are just a few thousand HH points short of a desired award redemption.
