Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked cheapest room and got upgraded to a King Bed Deluxe Riverview room on the club floor with club lounge access (without asking for it)
I was told club access is an exception for first time guests with RA status.
(Last time I stayed there was 2012, first as an Ambassador, later as a RA.)
How are the rooms?
Separate shower and bath tub in the bath. Nice big window behind the bath tub, allowing to view ships while drinking a beer during bathing. Spacious room, especially compared to other ICs in Tokyo.
How is the exec. lounge?
Breakfast is rather limited for western stomachs. First time in my life at a club lounge were I could not manage to get poched eggs. The egg cook just does omelette and fried eggs.
At dinner time they have three or for hot dishes, enough to get you feeded.
What was your welcome gift?
Chocolate and a bottle of whine.
Did you receive fruit in the room?
Yes, sliced fruits in the fridge.
What was good and what was bad?
Good- Lounge access.
- Lounge is quiet, no cell phones allowed.
- Spacious room for a Tokyo IC.
- Very friendly and helpfull staff.
- Bluetooth docking station for iPad.
Bad- No cheese for breakfast in the club lounge.
Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
Good value for the prize.
