Both alexmt and I received the EMV version of the Costco AmEx today (

example 2). I think come May pretty much all of the AmEx products that FlyerTalk members care about will have an EMV chip version. ^ It's just too bad that it's chip-and-signature and not chip-and-PIN.
I probably will never use this card outside of the US due to the foreign transaction fees and lack of cash back category bonus outside of the US, but it's nice to be prepared for the upcoming EMV transition here. ^
