As a loyal Hawaiian Airlines credit cardholder, we will credit back qualified checked bag and foreign transaction fees assessed between January 1, 2014 and April 28, 2014 via statement credit within 90 days after you receive your new Hawaiian Airlines World Elite MasterCard in April.1
1 Checked baggage fees and foreign transaction fees assessed on your current Hawaiian Airlines Visa card between January 1, 2014 and April 28, 2014 will be credited to your Hawaiian Airlines World Elite MasterCard statement within ninety (90) days after you receive your new card. You must activate your new card in order to receive the statement credit.
2 As long as your account is open and in good standing as of February 27, 2014, you should expect to receive your new Hawaiian Airlines World Elite MasterCard(s) in mid-April 2014.
3 The following benefits will apply beginning on April 28, 2014:
Complimentary Checked Bag: The Primary Cardholder is eligible to receive one (1) complimentary checked bag on Hawaiian Airlines-operated flights. International flights are excluded. Offer is also not valid for codeshare flight segments operated by Hawaiian Airlines and marketed by other airline partners. All ticket purchases must be made with the Hawaiian Airlines World Elite MasterCard and purchased directly from Hawaiian Airlines.
Companion Ticket Benefits: Cardholders are eligible to receive one companion discount for $100 discount off one companion ticket on each credit card account anniversary. Discounts are good on roundtrip coach travel between Hawaii and North America on Hawaiian Airlines booked directly through the Primary Cardholder’s HawaiianMiles account using their Hawaiian Airlines World Elite MasterCard. Additional taxes and fees apply.
In-Flight Purchase Credit (Pualani Platinum and Pualani Gold Members Only): You must be a current Pualani Platinum or Pualani Gold HawaiianMiles member to be eligible for a maximum $100 annual statement credit towards In-Flight purchases. You will be allowed $10 Inflight maximum credit redemption per day for qualified purchases. Qualified purchases are; In-Flight purchases such as but not limited to: onboard entertainment, beverages and premium meals. Purchases must be made with your Hawaiian Airlines World Elite MasterCard. Purchases that are made only on Hawaiian Airlines flights. Duty-Free, preferred seating, class upgrades purchases are not included. If the total $100 annual credit has not been awarded by your credit card anniversary date, no residual credit will be carried over into the following cycle. In-Flight purchase credit benefit is good for one (1) year starting from the credit card open or anniversary date as long as HawaiianMiles Pualani Platinum or Gold membership is maintained. If you close your account, the remaining credit will be forfeited.
Bonus Miles: The HawaiianMiles® rewards program will remain the same through this transition. In addition, you will continue to receive 2,000 Anniversary Bonus HawaiianMiles through your 2014 account anniversary. On your first anniversary date in 2015 and every year thereafter, you will receive 5,000 Annual Bonus HawaiianMiles when you spend $10,000 or more in net purchases.
