Stayed here last week as a Platinum, booked cheapest room for one night, arriving late, departing early. Was given lounge access after requesting it when checking in. Also received an upgrade (apparently, though it was my first visit so don't know to which degree) , and a drinks voucher. We also had free wifi though I am not sure if this is hotel policy or was a platinum benefit (or considered part of the lounge benefit).
The lounge closes at 10PM and we arrived at 9:30 so managed a quick peek: it was very quiet and while there was no food still left out (as far as I can remember) there was still red and white wine available.
According to the welcome letter the lounge offers:
06:30-10:00 light continental breakfast
15:00-16:30 afternoon tea
18:00-20:00 evening canapés (incl. alcohol)
We never saw anyone staffing the lounge welcome/reception desk so had to check out in the main reception.
Note: I also contacted the hotel in advance to ask if they had implemented the new benefits and lounge access would be forthcoming, which they confirmed.
Overall a pleasant stay, and I will consider it again for an overnight connection at T5.
