That pita fauxnini is the most disgusting AA dish I've ever had. I cringe at the thought of ever getting that option.
AA transcon breakfast really is pathetic. It's extremely poor, especially comparing to what AA serves on dinner flights. The recent addition of the fruit & cheese plate in addition to the cookies/fruit cup prior to landing is a nice touch though. Unless, they have since cut the fruit and cheese plate?
If you want a good breakfast on the LAX/SFO-JFK route, fly Delta, hands down. Staggered flat bed. Multi-course brunch with appetizer and hot nuts to start. Snack basket before landing. Amenity kit. ^
