Booked a three night stay and I have only completed one night.
Absolutly horrbile hotel considering the price, I have completed a six night stay at the Grosvenor House and would loved to extend it but due to the hotel being sold out I couldnt do that. Even though the Duty Manager offered one but it was in the last minute and I have already booked at this hotel.
After checking-in we were upgraded to a junior suite which was on the 1st floor so there was no view of the sea, we changed to a room on the 7th floor and had a great view of the sea.
Here are the complaints,The hotel is very tired, we were told there was afternoon tea, so when we went up to the lounge on the top floor it turned out it was only tea. The A/C had lots of noises which made it hard to sleep at night so I did not get enough sleep, so we overslept until 12 PM where we recieved a call that woke us up and I was annoyed by it and asked to call later, Got another call again at 3 PM and I did not answer, then again 10 minutes later and straight after that the housekeeper got in our room while were sleeping (even though it was on DND).
I really got upset by this and requested to leave early, sorry but 1740 AED for one night is ridiculous, the Grosvenor House were offering 1440 AED, way cheaper and much better services.
I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel unless it's under 400 AED.
