Virgin America is introducing a number of in-fight favorites to its summer menu, including caramel popcorn and turkey jerky.

Virgin America flyers in both first class and economy can expect tasty treats on their upcoming flight, coming in the way of new seasonal menus. In a press release, the airline announced a partnership with gourmet food company Dean & Deluca to improve the airline’s summer meal options.

Under the new partnership, Dean & Deluca will provide Virgin America with upgraded menu options throughout the summer season. Flyers at the front of the aircraft can expect to dine on a number of improved dishes, including beef bulgogi bibimbap bowls, herb-roasted chicken salad and bittersweet chocolate ganache tart.

The upgraded menu is not lost on main cabin flyers. Those in economy can also expect to see a number of improved seasonal items, including a roast beef and cheddar sandwich on ciabatta, a veggie wrap featuring black rice and edamame, as well as sea salt caramel popcorn and turkey jerky. The airline boasts that all of their meals will be created using sustainable and locally-sourced ingredients where available.

“We take pride in elevating the industry standard for guest experience – and designing our in-flight dining experience at 35,000 feet is no exception to this,” Frances Fiorillo, senior vice president of people and in-flight services at Virgin America, said in the statement. “We’re thrilled to partner with Dean & DeLuca – a gourmet brand that our discerning guests will enjoy and will help us continue our award-winning tradition.”

In addition to the summer menu, the carrier plans to roll-out additional improvements to the in-flight experience. Those in first class can expect to receive upgraded duvets and pillows and a new amenity kit. The airline will also feature two wines from ONEHOPE Winery, based in California. The full summer menu can be found on the Virgin America website.
