VIDEO: Alaska Air Apologizes for Employees’ Game of “Bag Toss”

After a recent video surfaced of its employees tossing baggage around at San Jose International Airport (SJC), Alaska Airlines is issuing an apology. According to reports, the clip was filmed on November 24 by a passenger who reported the workers to a Southwest Airlines gate agent, under the mistaken assumption they worked for that carrier.

“Regrettably, our employees were tossing a company rollaboard bag that was filled with magazines as part of an employee game,” Alaska said in a statement. The carrier apologized for any confusion and claimed that no passengers’ bags were involved in the “game.”
