A new website from United Airlines allows frequent flyers to track progress toward premier status, as well as an overview of their mileage balances and lifetime miles.

United Airlines flyers now have a new way to track progress toward their next elite tier. In the FlyerTalk forums, United announced the launch of their new MileagePlus Premier Status Tracker, located at MyStatus.United.com. The new site is currently a stand-alone product, requiring users to sign in separately from United’s main website.

The new MileagePlus Premier Status Tracker offers a quick and easy way for flyers to track progress towards their next status tier. The tracker details a user’s air miles flown, segments flown, and Premier Qualified Spending toward their next tier. The new tracker also takes waivers and exemptions into consideration, allowing flyers to have a complete view of their status throughout the year. MileagePlus flyers that have a Chase United credit card can also track their progress toward a Premier Qualified Spending exemption.

According to UA Insider’s post on FlyerTalk, the tracker’s launch is the first step in a bigger digital plan for United. “In the next few months, we plan to expand the site to be more of a ‘digital membership kit’ that complements the regular kit that you receive in the mail,” read a portion of UA Insider’s post. “The site will provide greater detail on benefits, as well as special offers.”

The announcement comes about one year after United re-launched its mobile app with a focus on offering a cleaner experience for frequent flyers. United released the brief promotional video featured below to go along with the tracker’s announcement, and according to officials, functionality will soon be added to the Premier Status Tracker that will allow users to switch between the page the carrier’s main website.
