Union Calls for Berlin Airport Strikes

Ver.di, an airport ground staff union, has asked members to stage a strike at Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL) and Berlin Schönefeld Airport (SXF) Wednesday to demand higher worker wages and less harsh working conditions for its 2,000 members. The union confirmed that the strike will occur between 5 a.m. and 11 a.m. local time and that flyers can reasonably expect disruptions and cancellations as a result.
