Teen Famous for Gibberish Threats “Starts Swinging” on Spirit Flight

Former Dr. Phil guest, internet sensation and reputed juvenile delinquent Danielle Bregoli, who is perhaps best known for the phrase “cash me outside,” reportedly punched a woman at LAX.

It seems the passage of time has done very little to soften Danielle Bregoli’s unique vernacular nor her self-professed violent tendencies. The 15-year-old troubled teen and subject of a popular social media meme was removed from a Spirit Airlines flight at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) after allegedly punching a fellow passenger in the face.

The out-of-control adolescent earned her 15 minutes of fame in 2016 following the broadcast of her brief appearance on the Dr. Phil show. When the live studio audience voiced displeasure at the then 13-year-old’s disrespectful behavior, the defiant adolescent offered the now famous challenge, “Cash me outside, howbow dah.”

The teen had earlier explained to Dr. Phil that she got her unique manner of speaking “from the street.” The teen’s rebellious and somewhat confusing threat has become a symbol for seemingly lost causes that might just call for uncompromising bravado and a little socially inappropriate behavior.

There's a point "cash me outside" stopped being funny and we have clearly gone past it.

In other words, situations almost exactly like what reportedly occurred on the Monday evening Spirit flight at LAX. A video of the dustup obtained by TMZ shows the ugliness evolving from a dispute about overhead bin space. Although the dispute took place in the aisle of a commercial airline flight, the drama would have been much more appropriate on the Dr. Phil soundstage.

While Bregoli’s one-of-a-kind version of the English language and enthusiasm for physical violence stole the show, her rival reportedly managed to drop a taboo racial epithet of her own, before spitting at the teen and her mother. The unidentified passenger is said to have then restrained Bregoli and attempted to make a citizen’s arrest.

According to reports, when actual law enforcement officers arrived, the teen and her mother were removed from the flight along with the other female passenger involved in the altercation. Police say neither party was inclined to make a complaint and therefore, no charges were filed at the time. Spirit Airlines, on the other hand, told reporters that all three of the passengers removed from the flight are now banned from ever flying the carrier again.

If she's just as out of control with her body, she's going to introduce other problems into her life soon as well. I actually feel sad when I hear of cases like this. It's simple to say this, but at the root cause of this is a lack of love and the physchological problems stemming from trying to resolve being loved. Criminals always seem to start out this way and if there were as many mental health checkups as physical ones, a lot of people will be helped and be more happy. Very sad that even with everything that can be done in this world, such a simple thing is overlooked.

I think anyone commenting might want to watch the Dr. Phil video on YouTube that follows the one posted. This is a little girl whose dad divorced her mom and started a new family. She feels displaced from that relationship. Then her mother got cancer twice, which probably scared the dickens out of her when she was quite young. Dr. Phil calls it "porcupine behavior" - she's doing all of it to push people away before any more primary relationships can threaten her stability and happiness. Mind you, I'm not condoning any of this behavior and she needed to be stopped long ago. She's on a dangerous self-destruct path, and unfortunately, this new world of the internet allows her to act out on a much larger stage than any of us had when we were 13. Thank God for that. A lot of the standard angst and self-involved drama of teenage years is being given far too much airplay on YouTube (MeTube), Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and Tumblr. It's just bizarre. Most of us grew out of our idiot hormone years, but these kids today are celebrated for it and that just encourages more bad behavior and heightens their sense of importance. That all being said, my kids would have been sent to their rooms without any internet, TV or phones and would have lost all those privileges for a year if necessary for this kind of nonsense. She definitely needed to be reigned in. Not sure if being on Dr. Phil helped or hurt her... Adding a tangential comment - what do you think about Dr. Phil's obvious botox/surgery? Yowza.
