Ryanair Serves More Int’l Passengers Than Any Other Carrier

According to figures from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Ryanair carried more international passengers in 2015 than any other airline at a whopping total of 101.4 million international passengers. The next closest airline was easyJet, which served approximately 62.6 million customers. Emirates came in third with 51 million and Lufthansa came fourth with just under 47 million. Some US airlines, including Southwest, carried a greater number of passengers, but the majority of its business was domestic.
